TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF FISHING

Dear Anglers,

We would like to inform you that, due to a prolonged lack of rainfall, extremely low water levels, and the need to protect fish population, Idrija Fishing Association has decided to introduce a temporary suspension of fishing on all waters managed by the Idrija Fishing Association.

The suspension comes into effect on Friday, 1 August 2026, and remains in force until further notice. The suspension applies to both members of the fishing association and visiting anglers.

This decision has been made to protect fish populations during a period when they are particularly vulnerable due to low river flow, high water temperatures, and reduced oxygen levels.

We will inform you through our website and other official communication channels as soon as fishing activities are allowed to resume.
